Built from a personal place, and built to stay free for teachers
Free Teacher Tools exists to create useful, engaging classroom tools without putting the essential value behind a paywall.
Free Teacher Tools was created from a very personal place.
My mom was a teacher. My wife is a teacher. My daughter is a professor, and my other daughter is studying to become a teacher. Because of them, I've seen firsthand how much heart, time, and energy educators pour into helping students learn.
I've also seen how hard it can be to find classroom tools that are both effective and affordable. These tools may not be the flashiest, but they're built to work where it matters most — and you can't beat the price of free.
That's why Free Teacher Tools was born.
Why it works this way
The mission is simple: create useful, engaging tools for educators and make them available without putting essential features behind a paywall. QuizFlow was the first tool, and that same promise carries across the rest of the suite.
There is no locked feature set for people who donate. Donations help cover the real costs of running servers, maintaining the apps, improving the code, and keeping everything running smoothly.
This is still a one-man shop, and while it takes a lot of work, it's worth it because teachers and students deserve access to great tools.
If Free Teacher Tools helps you, we'd be deeply grateful for support of any amount. Most of all, this project is a thank-you to the teachers in our lives — and to teachers everywhere. We see how much you give, and we want to give something back.
